After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to sell some unused Leica lenses. They can be seen and tested in Oslo.Leitz Elmar 5cm 1:3.5 (M mount) from 1956, collapsible, filter size 39mm, serial. Very good copy, excellent optically and mechanically; it is the coated version, very sharp and with low contrast. Just a little dust inside, otherwise perfect. It used to belong to an old German gentleman who bought it with an M3 in the 1950s and kept it as his only lens until he sold the whole to me last year. I haven't used it much since I have a lot of other 50s, but it is a wonderful lens. Asking price: kr 3000. Comes with generic rear and front caps.Leitz Elmar-C 90mm 1:4, from 1973, filter size 39 x 0.75mm or series 5.5 (on the included rubber hood), serial. Good user copy, but not "mint". User marks on the black aluminium, some dust inside, little oil on aperture blades; still perfectly usable. No nice story behind this one. I bought it last winter to try the focal length, but 90mm doesn't work for me. Very compact lens, not much bigger than a 50mm Summicron. Asking price: kr 2000. Comes with original rubber hood and generic rear cap.More pictures will come when I figure out how the uploading works... I don't have macro equipment, so can't take very detailed pictures. |
